The South African fund NEPI Rockcastle will invest 141m euros in the construction of a new mall in the center of Plovdiv.

Тhe entire project will cover an area of 65 decares. The new mall is expected to be open in two years and to add nearly 60,000 sq m of lettable space to the commercial property market in the city. This became clear from the NEPI report for the first half of 2018, Capital reported. This is the third big project in the country after the company acquired the "Serdika Center" and "Paradise Center" in Sofia last summer.

The entire project is estimated at 141 million euros, and the company has invested 24 million euros already.

According to NEPI, the project in Plovdiv has a great interest from potential tenants. The mall will be the main shopping center in Plovdiv, where there is a shortage of modern retail spaces.

NEPI's mall will be the fourth shopping mall in the city and it will be called Promenada Plovdiv after other company sites in Serbia and Romania.
