Three New Ministers After the Svoge Crash

The names of the three new ministers are already clear, Actualno reported. Alexander Manolev is proposed to head the Transport ministry, Mladen Marinov is offered for the position in the Ministry of Interior, and Petya Avramova is offered to take over the Regional ministry.

The Coalition Council of GERB and United Patriots decided that the resignations of the three ministers submitted after the Svoge incident will be given for a vote in parliament on Thursday. The resignations came after the protest actions.

Alexander Manolev has a number of specializations in Bulgaria and abroad. He was appointed as Deputy Minister of Tourism in the Second Government of the Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. In 2016 he took over the management of the State Agency for Metrology and Technical Surveillance.

Chief Commissioner Mladen Marinov was appointed by the President Rumen Radev in 2017 as a Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior. Between July 2014 and May 2017, he was a Director of the Capital Directorate of the Interior.

Petya Avramova is a deputy from the 42nd National Assembly. Member of Permanent Commissions of Energy, Religious Affairs and Parliamentary Ethics and Investment Design Commission.
