Bulgarian Police Searches Trace Group Headquarters Due to Fatal Crash

Bulgarian police entered the “Trace Group” headquarters in Sofia and investigated the firm’s paperwork in relation to the recent bus crash near Svoge, Bulgaria.

bTV reports that the firm was responsible for the track near Svoge on which the tragic bus crash happened. The incident cost the lives of at least 15 people, though more fatalities have been reported. The police took some documents from the firm. Trace's employees gave full cooperation to the investigators. bTV writes that Trace Group announced a press conference on the incident tomorrow, but postponed it due to the police investigation.

Trace Group was responsible for the repair work on the track where the bus flipped. The company was warned multiple times by the Road Infrastructure Agency for the bad condition of the road and for the need of repair, but no such operation was carried out.

Trace officially denies any responsibility for the tragic incident.
