Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU: Positive Feedback

Bulgarians rate the passing European Presidency rather positive, although the share of those who admit they do not feel sufficiently familiar is also not small. Political differences have not stopped positive attitudes. The findings are from the political and economic index of Gallup International - the independent monthly national representative survey, which has been exploring opinions every month since the early 1990s.

43% say that the presidency was rather good, 12% - that it was not good, and that 33% say they are not well informed. The rest cannot answer.

The survey was conducted between 6 and 13 June among 760 respondents across the country.

Among the most positive assessments are those of the ruling party's supporters. Even among the supporters of the BSP /Bulgarian socialist party/ there are not predominantly negative assessments - there are more the ones who do not feel sufficiently familiar to form an opinion.

The Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the EU ends on 30 June 2018.
