Factory for Illegal Bottling of Alcohol Busted in Plovdiv, Bulgaria

In a joint operation, police authorities and customs officers busted an illegal factory for bottling alcohol. The operation discovered 22,000 liters of alcoholic beverages and a conveyor for the bottling process.

In eight 10-liter bottles, the officers found pure medical alcohol. Also, 270 glass bottles labeled "Vodka" and an unknown brand of rakiya as well as white and red wine. The customs weren't presented with documents that prove the origin of the alcohol or the legal state of the bottling complex. A probe from the beverages was sent for laboratory testing. The case will be taken to a court of law.
